Patternmaking for fashion design

My passion for beautiful clothes developed when I was a teenager living in South Africa.Coming from a humble background most of my clothes were home sewn by the local dressmaker. This inspired me to fulfill a career in design and I  qualified as a Fashion Designer in 1990. I have worked in the clothing Industry for the past 29 years and have experience working in design and development , patternmaking and grading. I possess strong garment construction knowledge with a great eye for detail and I have worked in different sectors of the industry such fashion, workwear and children's wear.
